We are pleased to announce that the new JVAP website and data collection platform is now live, marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration and transparency on migration between Africa and Europe.
This development follows a comprehensive Partner-informed evaluation throughout 2024, carried out jointly with African states, European states, European institutions, and international organizations. In response to the evaluation’s findings, ICMPD has substantially overhauled JVAP Follow-up’s tools and processes—resulting in a renewed, modern, and efficient infrastructure.
Key Features:
- Upgraded Website: A user-friendly interface offering improved accessibility and clearer insights into migration initiatives in the African-European context.
- Revamped Data Collection Platform: Intuitive workflows and streamlined processes designed to better align with Partners’ evolving needs.
Beginning in early 2025, these enhancements will support the next JVAP data collection cycle, further supporting the Khartoum Process and the Rabat Process in evidence-informed policymaking. We invite all Partners and stakeholders to stay engaged and take advantage of the new tools and resources.
